Greetings, Earthlings! In Monday's post by the totally fabulous Melanie at Bag and a Beret, she asked, "What would you wear for space travel?" I answered, "Since I slightly over-dressed for work today anyway, I'd go with that - my hair is already tuned into multiple frequencies, plus I've got on comfortable boots."

flower pin: a gift from my mother, from Dillard's, worn here
boots: Fluevog Presence Intuit, worn here and here
This is another option for my participation in Sheila's Dress Week of Horrors! at Ephemera. I think I used up all the colours in yesterday's outfit, though.
Once when I was shopping with my mother, I tried on a rather stupendous blue hat. I put it back with a touch of regret. "It just doesn't go at all in my ordinary life," I said.

"Well, maybe not," said my mother. "But it would prepare you for your extraordinary life."
In the comments below yesterday's post, the incredible Tamera Beardsley asks some really interesting questions - I haven't yet got around to creating an About page, but find it completely extraordinary to have an interview with Tamera as a jumping-off point! Though I can make no promises as to timeline / response to lovely comments / ever catching up on the great deluge of tantalizing posts popping up in the past couple of days, I invite you to fire away if there are any other burning questions - to put the "F" in FAQ, as it were.
So I had three minutes left until I had to dash back to the house, throw my lunch together, and make it to the office on time, and I was feeling
inspired compelled by the wonderful resource of cult superhero Miz Bagg's thoroughly educational Posing 101 tutorial (also via Melanie of Bag and a Beret). It was just long enough to Be A Bird:

I cannot pose with a clutch other than this, because of this. The accompanying video made me cry - can't say I didn't warn you. May the extraordinary be with you!
